Iloilo River Esplanade is a Riverside park opened on 2012 with the help of the local government unit of Iloilo, the area was rehabilitated and improved not just to add a new attraction site but also to protect the Iloilo River. People usually come for strolling, jogging, sunset/sunrise watching or boating. Boat renting is available from 6am to 9am and 4pm to 9pm only at Php 85 pesos only per head with a minimum of 2 persons.

Iloilo River Esplanade is a 1.2-km Riverside Park that also serves as a connecting route from Mandurriao, Diversion Road to Molo, Iloilo City. You can actually enter the park from two areas. You can pass through R. Mapa Street near Carpenter’s Bridge at Molo or Riverside Boardwalk near Diversion Road.
It is recommended to visit Esplanade at dusk where you can catch the serene view overflowing with various colors of the sunset. There are also recreational activities such as biking, wall climbing, and playground for kids.
