Mandurriao Houses the Newest and Largest Business Hub in Iloilo
Iloilo has been progressively improving in terms of business activities, and Mandurriao is now considered the hub of businesses. Lots of companies have been established at this site. Business process outsourcing/BPO companies are more likely to make their names here in Iloilo. Because of this, lots of job opportunities have also emerged for Ilonggos. Startek, Reed Elsevier, iQor, One and Two Techno Place and Transcom are just a few of the BPO companies at the place.
Iloilo Business Park also houses the largest state-of-art convention facility in Iloilo – Iloilo Convention Center. Originally, ICC was built for the 2015 APEC Meetings, but, today it holds different grandiose gatherings and event occasions. The convention’s main hall has a 3,700 seat-capacity and 500 seat-capacities within its function rooms.
Hotels are also starting to begin their construction within the area. The 12-storey Richmonde Hotel opened in July 2015 for their soft launch. For ownership properties, there are several condo buildings as well as the Business Park. Mariott has launched its sister hotel – Courtyard Iloilo just along ICC’s road. This 2018, it is expected that Lafayette Park will be completed – it is a 14-storey single tower with Spanish and French architectural designs. And there are a lot more hotels to be built!
With all these hotels and businesses, Iloilo Business Park is also the home of the 1km Festive Walk commercial strip and across is its Festive Mall – the first ever pet-friendly mall in Iloilo! Pet-lovers can now let their buddies accompany them in shopping.
Iloilo does not just provide its people necessities but also job opportunities!
