Sicogon Airport, Carles Iloilo – First Flight
Today marks the inaugural flight at Sicogon Airport in Carles Iloilo. Airswift is now flying from Manila to Sicogon Island in Carles, Iloilo (vice versa).
Last August 20 (Monday), it was reported by IMT News that Airswift Transport, Inc which is an Ayala-owned regional boutique airline company, held a test flight of its 50-seater Turbo Prop plane a newly-built airport on the 1,100-hectare island.
According to Carles Mayor Salagunting A. Betita, Airswift initially plans to have 3 flights per week and hoping it will increase depending on passenger volume.
This project was made possible by Ayala Land, Inc (ALI) and Sicogon Development Corp. (SIDECO) which is part of the Php10B Sicogon Island Tourism Estate project.
And below are the highlights of inaugural flight:

Upcoming projects that will open before the year ends: a jetty port & an international hotel.
We’re truly excited for more developments!
